The Ideal Conscious Client
- Horses and their humans who are having sensitivities and nervous behaviors, coming from undiscovered learned patterns and compensational movement. Examples would be: Improper saddle fitting, riding in one discipline (even trail riding) over and over, injury, memory of accidents, (trailer accidents, birthing, etc.), incorrect hoof care, poor dentistry, and lack movement and/or grazing on pastureland, and tack.
- Artists who can connect with their horse in a deeper bond, beyond performance.
- Actors and screenwriters with horses who can feel the draw to an inner-connection with the horse and have the desire to express this in their work.
- Professional horse trainers involved with natural methodologies and the biomechanics of movement in the horse.
- Horse lovers, searching for their hearts desire and the purpose of their life.
* Equine Positional Release supports trainers and their clients by keeping the horses’ body sound, releasing compensation patterns and replacing the disharmony by returning those parts of the horse to harmony. We can do quick releases for competition or just to relieve pain. I offer “homework” for clients to be able to do simple exercises during times between sessions. Then we can add the training methods of your work.
About Lycia Adams

My journey began with horses at about 3 years of age. Fortunately, being born in Hollywood, California, there were horses not only everywhere in the Valley, but also in the television and movie industry. My grandfather had bought Ronald Regan’s old ranch and gave me my first horse on my fifth birthday – a 16.3hh Saddlebred, called Country Deacon. He was the perfect horse. Throughout my life I never felt like I fit in, except with the more eccentric, creative types. I am an artist, love the stars (the universe) always knowing they held the intuitive logic we needed) and an ideaist. This led me to acquire a Bachelor Degree in Fine Art with a minor in (large) Animal Science. Decorative painting, interior design and natural horsemanship have also led me on wonderful trails of experience. Intuition and psychic development, with a desire to know what was behind it all, art, horses, travel, music, and wild places in our environment have been my life long passions. Now, with the years of constant study of nature and the environment I have been able to put the puzzle pieces together to share and help the horse collective to “turn it around 180 degrees and help them”.
My specific talent lies in the ability to translate the feel of the unseen in the responses in the physical body, emotional mind, and spiritual essence of the horse. My life is a constant “advanced study” with horses and their nature, always looking to express that with action in the physical realms.
The documentation of Equutelechyâ„¢ (EQT) took over eight years by putting the puzzle pieces together from experiences, learned knowledge, and intuition and understanding gained from these. The methodology that followed was from the truth horses exhibited in the form of immediate feedback. This was done by translating that feedback into words from the feel of the experiences into understandings. We began to notice patterns that were innate and consistent in the horse, which were also in nature and the entire universe. This was my purpose: to share the insights from the horses’ perspective by putting them first.
